Beyond the Fair: A Frieze Week Studio Trail

Beyond the Fair is a new open-studio trail organised by artist Alice Irwin and Nimi founder Anh, launching during Frieze Week 2026.

Spanning Hoxton, Cambridge Heath and Bethnal Green, the trail invites audiences away from the pace of the fairs and into the working spaces of East London artists. Over two days, participating artists will open their studios, offering an opportunity to encounter work where it is made and to meet and speak directly with the artists.

The initiative brings together artists, studios and galleries across the area to create a coordinated route through East London during one of the busiest weeks in the international art calendar.

Beyond the Fair is conceived as a collaborative, artist-focused initiative, with the ambition for the trail to return and grow in future editions.
